Promoting responsible Rottweiler ownership through education
It's about time Nanaimo had a Rottweiler club! Nanaimo and it's surrounding areas are home to a large number of Rottweilers and now we can have a way to communicate and share ideas and thoughts. We are dedicated to breeding only purebred Rottweilers than conform to the highest standards. We promote and facilitate the rescue of mistreated Rottweilers. We help find foster homes for Rottweilers that end up in the shelters or SPCAs. We maintain the Rottweiler Refuge, a BC wide Rottweiler adoption network. Your dog does not have to be CKC registered, as long as he/she is well tempered and socially adjusted, and exhibits all the Rottweiler traits. Membership benefits include monthly newsletters, and a custom website for you and your Rottweiler. Once a month we will get together for a barbeque/picnic after a stroll with the dogs. Whether you have a full grown adult Rottweiler or just a puppy, membership has many benefits, including access to our huge amount of information on health, diet, temperament and training in the members area.
